OpenText is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management to lead our multi-tenant OpenText Communications offering, currently represented by Core Communications.
This role will define and execute the strategy for a modern, multi-tenant SaaS communications platform that enables organizations and integrated applications to design, generate, edit, and deliver client communications. Core Communications runs on OpenText’s cloud platform as an integrated communications capability for OpenText, partner, and client applications.
Your Impact:
You will lead the product team responsible for growing the multi-tenant Communications business, expanding supported use cases, improving ease of adoption, and delivering a competitive SaaS product.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, spanning market strategy, client discovery, roadmap definition, SaaS economics, requirements, release delivery, commercialization, adoption, and usage measurement.
What the Role Offers:
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and business plan for multi-tenant OpenText Communications.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers with ownership across design, authoring, interactive communications, integrations, APIs, and platform capabilities.
- Define the target market and clearly position multi-tenant Communications relative to single-tenant and off-cloud alternatives.
- Identify the use cases and client segments best suited to multi-tenant SaaS, including departmental and line-of-business use cases and embedded communications.
- Drive continuous product evolution across usability, simplified configuration, document generation, authoring, interactive editing, output, and administration.
- Partner with OCP, Cloud Operations, Development, Security, Support, and Fulfillment to deliver a scalable and supportable SaaS service.
- Guide tenant, subscription, provisioning, metering, entitlement, service availability, and operational-readiness requirements.
- Define product requirements for APIs and SDKs that allow OpenText, partners, and clients to embed communications capabilities within other applications.
- Expand and commercialize integrations with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Guidewire, Core DAM, Core Journey, Core Messaging, and other OpenText applications.
- Establish pricing, packaging, transaction models, overage approaches, and unit-economics recommendations.
- Use product telemetry, client usage, and financial measures to manage adoption and guide investment.
- Coordinate roadmap and architecture decisions with the broader OpenText Communications portfolio to maximize reuse and provide appropriate migration paths.
- Drive product charters, requirements, release planning, architecture reviews, cloud-readiness activities, enablement, and go-to-market execution.
- Engage directly with clients, partners, analysts, and field teams to validate needs and improve product-market fit.
- Develop competitive positioning and differentiated value propositions for SaaS CCM and automated document generation.
- Support strategic deals and help field teams select the right Communications offering for each client's use cases, scale, and deployment requirements.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 8+ years of product management experience delivering enterprise software or SaaS products.
- Experience managing and developing product managers or leading a substantial product area.
- Demonstrated success delivering multi-tenant SaaS applications from definition through commercial launch and growth.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, multi-tenancy, APIs, SDKs, identity, provisioning, security, telemetry, and service operations.
- Experience with usage-based pricing, SaaS unit economics, subscription packaging, and product adoption metrics.
- Experience with CCM, document generation, content creation, workflow, CRM, ERP, or digital experience applications strongly preferred.
- Ability to translate client and partner needs into clear product requirements, priorities, and measurable success criteria.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and development teams.
- Experience delivering integrated solutions across multiple product and platform teams.
- Strong market analysis, client discovery, and competitive-research skills.
- Understanding of generative and agentic AI and their application to content creation and business workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex SaaS and commercialization decisions to executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively across global teams in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
