About the Role

The Senior Director, CGAT Technology Center of Excellence is responsible for leading the technology strategy, roadmap, and execution for the CGAT organization. This role partners closely with business leaders and cross-functional IT teams to drive innovation, build organizational capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes across SAP, non-SAP, and AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do

- Lead the CGAT Technology Center of Excellence and own the technology strategy, roadmap, delivery, operations, and overall performance.
- Define technology priorities, governance, investment strategies, and success metrics aligned to business objectives.
- Drive modernization and delivery of CGAT solutions across software engineering, transformation initiatives, and operations.
- Expand AI across the software development lifecycle to improve speed, quality, and productivity.
- Identify and implement practical AI use cases across business processes and service operations.
- Build talent, delivery practices, reusable solutions, and change management capabilities.
- Partner with business, product, engineering, architecture, security, data, and operations teams.
- Ensure initiatives meet financial, compliance, security, data governance, and responsible AI requirements.

Basic Requirements

- 13+ years of technology experience, as well as 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning,  communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading large-scale technology organizations, programs, or Centers of Excellence.
- Strong strategic planning, executive communication, people leadership, vendor management, and financial management skills.
- Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within complex business environments.

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Expertise in cloud-native and AI-native product delivery, enterprise transformation, and application modernization across SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Demonstrated success leveraging emerging technologies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of modern software delivery, AI-assisted engineering, service management, and organizational transformation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology, cell and gene therapy, or regulated supply chain environments.
- Knowledge of compliance, security, data governance, and responsible AI frameworks.

Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements

- Ability to effectively collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners across multiple functions and locations. Travel, work environment, and physical requirements may be aligned with company standards for senior leadership roles.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$185,100 - $308,500
