HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time Security Officers in the Napoleon, OH area. We are currently seeking candidates for swing shift position, covering both 2nd and 3rd shifts . These positions offer a pay rate of  $16.00/hr, with weekly pay.

Job Requirements

Requirements and Responsibilities:

- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have good communication skills.
- Good customer service skills and professional appearance.
- 1 year security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
- Maintain a professional security presence at the designated security desk while providing exceptional customer service to employees, tenants, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct detailed shift pass-down procedures, including equipment accountability, key control, log reviews, schedule verification, and communication of security concerns or unusual activity.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm panels, telephones, and other security equipment to identify and respond to potential security or safety issues.
- Control and monitor building access by greeting visitors, directing guests, maintaining visitor logs, and ensuring proper authorization for entry.
- Perform scheduled interior and exterior security patrols, including inspections of stairwells, loading docks, building perimeters, entrances, exits, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Identify, document, and report security concerns such as unlocked doors, lighting outages, suspicious activity, safety hazards, water leaks, damaged property, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain accurate activity reports, patrol documentation, visitor records, contractor logs, package logs, and other site-specific documentation using Vision Insite and other reporting systems.
- Assist with loading dock access and deliveries by verifying delivery destinations, monitoring dock activity, securing deliveries, and maintaining control of open dock areas.
- Follow all lock and unlock procedures while ensuring doors, gates, lighting systems, and other security-sensitive areas are properly secured.
- Promptly report emergencies, facility issues, maintenance concerns, and significant incidents to supervisors while providing detailed reports, photographs, and supporting documentation when required.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
