- Support finance related matters, including budgeting, invoicing, new-business setup and ad hoc finance projects.
- Liaise with internal and group support teams to coordinate service delivery, follow up on outstanding items and escalate quality or service issues where appropriate.

AUTHORUTY AND SUPERVISION

The Trust Officer will work under the supervision of a Senior Trust Officer, Assistant Manager, Manager or Director and will operate within established procedures and delegated authority limits. Complex client matters, discretionary decisions, higher-risk instructions and potential compliance concerns must be referred to an appropriate senior team member.

- Build knowledge of applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Apply feedback and demonstrate increasing independence in routine administration.

- Pursue relevant technical training and professional development.

- Demonstrate readiness for broader responsibilities through consistent accuracy, reliability and sound judgement.

Key Requirements

- A STEP qualification, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification, is desirable.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, private wealth, corporate services or a related financial services environment. Cayman experience is desirable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify missing information, approvals, documentation or potential risks and escalate these appropriately.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A developing understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, regulatory requirements and trust administration practices.
- A client-focused approach, with the ability to balance service delivery, compliance requirements and operational procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and seek guidance from senior colleagues when required.
