Job Title: Chemical Operator Responsibilities
- Follow batch tickets and batch sheets to formulate, combine, and react chemicals according to established procedures and specifications.
- Weigh precise quantities of raw materials and mixes to ensure accurate formulations and consistent product quality.
- Operate semi-automated filling machines to fill drums, totes, and other containers with finished products.
- Load and unload tankers and/or rail cars containing raw materials, chemicals, and finished products, following all safety and handling procedures.
- Operate pumps, valves, hoses, mixers, and chemical compounding equipment as part of daily production activities.
- Connect hoses, pumps, and valves to transfer chemicals between tanks, drums, and other containment units safely and efficiently.
- Take samples of incoming tankers and rail cars, in-process materials, and finished materials throughout the manufacturing process from start to finish.
- Complete manufacturing paperwork, production records, and checklists for all products and stages of the process with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Learn and follow all safety procedures, documentation standards, and filling processes before progressing to more advanced chemical operating tasks.
- Train on chemical operating processes in the main compounding room and subsequently in additional compounding rooms and processes as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
