About this role

IT Internal Audit Manager

Lead technology audit. Advise the business. Protect what matters.

Join a global, publicly traded company as the subject matter expert on IT, cybersecurity, and data. You'll lead the technology audit portfolio, own the IT side of SOX, and brief executives and the Audit Committee in plain language. Reporting to the VP of Global Internal Audit, you'll blend deep technical expertise with real business partnering.

What you'll do:

- Build and run a risk-based IT audit plan covering cybersecurity, cloud, access management, change management, data privacy, third-party risk, and major ERP implementations

- Own IT general controls and application control testing for SOX, working directly with external auditors and process owners

- Assess the information security program against frameworks like NIST CSF and ISO 27001, while partnering closely with InfoSec leadership

- Scale data analytics and automation, including AI, to improve audit coverage and insight

- Provide technical support on investigations and advise on control design for new systems and processes

- Mentor audit staff, manage concurrent engagements, and report findings and action plans to senior leadership

Background required:

- Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)

- 6+ years of IT audit, IT risk, or information security experience, including SOX ITGC ownership

- Leadership or supervisory experience; Big 4 or large-firm technology risk background strongly preferred

- Working knowledge of ERP environments (SAP preferred), cloud platforms, databases, and SDLC/DevOps

- Command of COSO, COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOX 404; familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn technical issues into business risk

- Preferred: CISA (strongly), plus CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CIA, CPA, or cloud certifications

Logistics: In office role with regular business hours with flexibility for global time zones, and up to 20% domestic and international travel.
