WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The IT Logistics Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of IT logistics and warehouse operations within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining operational execution, IT asset management, inventory control, team coordination, and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Lead provides daily direction to associates, monitors workload and performance, removes operational blockers, and serves as the first point of escalation for process, system, quality, and service-related issues.

The successful candidate will lead by example, maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability, and ensure operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established global processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team & Operational Leadership

- Lead and coordinate daily IT logistics and warehouse activities, ensuring work is prioritized and completed in line with operational requirements and customer commitments.

- Provide clear daily directions to warehouse associates, including workload allocation, task delegation, and prioritization.

- Maintain a hands-on presence within the operation and actively support the team during periods of increased volume or operational demand.

- Monitor performance against key service, quality, productivity, accuracy, safety, and cost metrics.

- Act as the first point of escalation for operational, process, quality, or system-related issues.

- Escalate risks, blockers, SLA concerns, and resource constraints to management in a timely manner.

- Promote accountability, teamwork, engagement, and a positive working environment.

- Support management with associate performance, attendance, timekeeping, and other day-to-day people-related matters.

- Manage and review associate timecards to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

IT Logistics & Asset Management

- Coordinate the movement of IT assets through inbound, processing, inventory, provisioning, and outbound workflows.

- Support receiving activities, including shipment verification, inspection, processing, and accurate system transactions.

- Ensure IT assets are handled, stored, processed, and shipped in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.

- Maintain accurate asset traceability throughout the asset lifecycle.

- Support provisioning and order fulfillment activities to ensure customer and partner deadlines are achieved.

- Coordinate and monitor ETAs for provisioning, order completion, and other operational deliverables.

- Diagnose basic hardware, cosmetic, and operating system issues and recommend appropriate repair or disposition actions.

- Troubleshoot internal systems and operational processes, escalating technical issues where appropriate.

- Ensure all equipment is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data security and asset management requirements.

Inventory Control & Data Accuracy

- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and data integrity across warehouse systems and operational processes.

- Coordinate and support monthly cycle counts and other inventory control activities.

- Investigate inventory discrepancies and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Ensure physical inventory movements are accurately reflected within applicable systems.

- Monitor inventory processes for compliance with established controls and procedures.

- Maintain organized, safe, and audit-ready warehouse and storage areas.

Quality & Process Compliance

- Ensure associates consistently follow approved global SOPs, work instructions, safety requirements, and customer processes.

- Perform or support quality checks and operational audits as required.

- Identify process gaps, recurring errors, or areas of operational risk and escalate appropriately.

- Support the creation, review, and implementation of SOPs and work instructions when processes change.

- Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, attention to detail, and right-first-time execution.

Reporting & Stakeholder Support

- Provide daily operational and performance updates to management.

- Support the preparation of reports, metrics, documentation, and operational updates for key stakeholders.

- Communicate proactively regarding workload, capacity, risks, delays, and service-impacting issues.

- Partner with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve service, quality, and cost objectives.

- Maintain professional and customer-focused communication with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

- Support urgent or escalated customer requirements when necessary.

Continuous Improvement & Team Development

- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, eliminate unnecessary process steps, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.

- Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Encourage associates to identify operational improvements and contribute ideas.

- Support associate onboarding, training, cross-training, and capability development.

- Coach team members on processes, quality expectations, productivity, and operational standards.

- Share best practices across teams and support the development of consistent, best-in-class IT logistics operations.

Travel & Site Support

- Travel to other customer or operational sites within the region when required to support business needs, projects, escalations, or temporary increases in workload.

- Where required and appropriately authorized, drive a company vehicle between operational or customer locations to support the movement of equipment, supplies, or other business requirements.

- Flexibility may occasionally be required to support changing operational schedules, business priorities, or urgent customer needs.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

- 3–5 years of experience leading or coordinating teams within a fast-paced operational environment.

- Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, IT asset management, or a similar operational environment preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work across multiple operational requirements.

- Experience working against defined KPIs, SLAs, productivity targets, or service expectations.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction, coaching, and support to team members.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to resolving operational issues.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to make timely, informed decisions.

- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining data integrity.

- Strong customer-service mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider team.

- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing operational and business requirements.

- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, operational reporting, performance metrics, and inventory or asset management systems.

- Ability to learn and troubleshoot internal systems and technology-related processes.

- Degree preferred but not required; relevant operational and leadership experience will be considered.
