Job Title: HR File Auditor Job Description
This temporary HR support role focuses on a critical employee file audit and document migration project. The HR File Auditor converts manual employee records into electronic files within HR systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality while supporting broader records modernization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with a comprehensive employee file audit and document migration project for HR records.
- Pull I-9 forms from approximately 1,200 employee files and prepare them for electronic conversion.
- Scan, rename, organize, and upload employee documents into the HRIS system with a high degree of accuracy.
- Process corrective action documentation by scanning, renaming, and uploading records into UKG.
- Perform daily filing and records maintenance to support ongoing HR documentation needs.
- Review employee records to ensure they are organized, complete, and compliant with applicable requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information at all times.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR, records, and document management functions as needed.
- Use Microsoft Office, including Excel, for basic data entry, tracking, and record maintenance related to the audit.
- Support the successful transition from manual paper files to electronic records management within HR systems.
Essential Skills
- Clerical experience supporting administrative, HR, records, or document management functions.
- Experience handling I-9 forms and employee documentation, with the ability to manage these documents accurately during a file audit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, for data entry, tracking, and record maintenance.
- Ability to scan, rename, organize, and upload documents accurately into electronic systems.
- Proven ability to handle confidential employee information securely and professionally.
- Experience with HRIS systems and electronic records management processes.
- Ability to perform detailed, repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with UKG or similar HRIS platforms for uploading and maintaining employee records.
- Experience working in an HR support or clerical role within a large, fast-paced organization.
- Comfort working with high volumes of employee files and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks during a large-scale audit project.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with HR team members and other stakeholders.
- Interest in longer-term or part-time opportunities that may extend beyond the initial project.
Work Environment
This role is based in an on-site office environment supporting HR records and document management functions. The position is part of a major records modernization initiative within a large 24/7 facility that employs approximately 1,200 people. Standard working hours are approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, and there is flexibility for earlier start times, such as 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM, depending on scheduling needs. The work involves frequent use of office technology and HR systems, including HRIS platforms and UKG, and requires consistent attention to detail and confidentiality in handling employee records. Flexible scheduling options make this role suitable for individuals seeking temporary, longer-term, or part-time opportunities in a professional office setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Mountain Top, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
