About this role
- Responsible for accurate and efficient picking of product to meet customer needs and stacking product on pallets to ensure loads are stable for delivery.
- Comply with all Wilsbach warehouse procedures. Follow all policies and procedures associated with operation of stand-up walkie riders, forklift and other equipment as assigned.
- Work safely and comply with WDI policies and processes to ensure proper material handling techniques including lifting, operating equipment, using appropriate PPE; and attend all required safety training.
- Responsible to take picked product to wrap machine for weighing and wrapping of product upon completion of order. If the order has a quality issue, associate may be responsible for correcting order , restacking, and re-wrapping to ensure it is correct as needed.
- Responsible for the proper care and appropriate operation of company-assigned property and equipment, including plugging in for charging at end of work day.
- Responsible to meet attendance and reliability requirements to ensure product is picked and trucks are loaded in a timely manner.
- If qualified by management, safely move trucks in and out of Wilsbach warehouse and on Wilsbach property to load/unload products.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to count accurately and meet quality standards.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs routinely and up to 160lbs as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, reach frequently.
- Bend, stoop or crouch as needed.
- Previous warehouse picking experience a plus.
- Previous use of forklift and/or standup walkie equipment a plus.
- Minimum of H.S. Diploma or GED required.
- Driving: Valid and clean drivers license or state approved photo ID.
