Job Requirements
Responsible for tank-farm activities which include loading and unloading of tankers, ISO tanks, Flexi tanks, transfer & blending operations within tankfarms etc.
Responsible for Packaging activities which include packing of finished goods in bags, drums as per requirement with adherence to SOPs.
Operate and monitor reactors, distillation columns, pumps, heat exchangers, cooling tower and other process equipment as per SOPs.
Report equipment malfunctions and ensure proper handling and operation of equipments to avoid breakdowns. Support preventive maintenance initiatives. Conduct regular linewalk & report deviations.
Record shift activities, process parameters and maintain log sheets, shift report books etc as per good documentation practices. Conduct in-process checks and report any deviations.
Maintain and improve GMP, Housekeeping, cleanliness and organization of the work area as 5S methodology.
Identify & report unsafe condition, unsafe acts, near miss and incidents.
Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist Unit head in reducing variable cost by yield improvement, utility consumption reduction, Kaizen etc.
Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and other team members.
