About this role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Intern to join our Finance team. You’ll be playing a key role in managing customer invoicing and collections, supporting accurate financial reporting in a fast-growing e-commerce context. Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you’ll help maintain smooth and reliable receivables operations.
What you’ll do:
- Support the accurate and timely issuance of B2B and marketplace invoices, following internal procedures and applicable fiscal requirements.
- Help monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with reconciling customer accounts and recording cash receipts.
- Work with the Customer Happiness team to investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of VAT and Sales Tax documentation.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and journal entries related to receivables.
- Help maintain accurate AR reports and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Provide documentation for annual audits.
- Support process automation and system optimization projects.
Who we’re looking for:
- Currently studying, or recently graduated in, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A good understanding of accounting principles; previous experience is not required.
- Confident using Excel, with an interest in developing your skills further.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable solving problems.
- Proficient in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Collaborative, proactive, and interested in working in a fast-moving, international environment.
