Schedule:
York Hospital
Full Time: 40 hours weekly/80 biweekly
Hours: Night/3rd shift, 3:00am-11:30am
Monday-Friday
General Summary
Oversees activities relating to the ordering, tracking, receiving, storing, inventory control, and distribution of various items. Items include supplies, linen, mail, print, and equipment in accordance with established priorities and schedules. Supervises warehouse/storeroom personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Associates Degree Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years Experience in business, logistics, or distribution. Required and
- Supervisory experience. Required
Licenses:
- Certified Materials and Resource Professional Upon Hire Preferred
Driver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Courses and Training:
- Professional certification in Materials Management. Upon Hire Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with requisitioning, ordering, distribution, inventory procedures and Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
