Murdock Acura SLC is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Parts Consultant to join our team! This position helps customers and service technicians find the right parts, supports daily parts department operations, and keeps inventory organized and accurate.
What Youll Do
- Assist retail customers, wholesale customers, and service technicians with parts inquiries and orders.
- Use parts catalogs to identify the correct parts and accessories.
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and order updates.
- Order and track special-order parts and follow up with customers and technicians.
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts.
- Process parts invoices, returns, and credits accurately.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy through counts and proper recordkeeping.
- Work closely with the service department to support timely vehicle repairs.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and safe.
What Were Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn dealership systems.
- A reliable team member who takes pride in completing work accurately.
- Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, moving parts, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
