About this role
We are seeking an Assembler to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling, painting, testing, and preparing product for shipping. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow production specifications, and experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to work orders and production specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units from designated work orders
- Paint and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Apply individual quality assurance stamps during assembly, setting, and testing processes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Assembler Qualifications
- One to three years of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic mathematical skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with database software.
Assembler Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly use hands and arms for handling, assembling, and reaching.
- Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment and follow workplace safety requirements.
Pay: $18.00+ per hour
Hours: 1st & 2nd shift available - Must be willing to work OT
