About this role
The Welfare and Self-Reliance Department (WSR) is seeking to appoint a Learning Centre Coordinators who will be based at Eita Stake Centre. This position is fixed-term, full-time for one (1) year and reports directly to local WSR Manager.
The purpose of this role is to provide multi-function service and support to the Learning Centre, helping advance the Church’s mission to assist all of God’s children in coming unto Jesus Christ through learning His gospel, making and keeping covenants, and practicing Christlike love and service. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others progress spiritually and temporally while developing their own professional skills.
- Secondary education certificate.
- A recognised tertiary degree is preferred, or active enrolment in tertiary studies such as BYU–Pathway Worldwide, or a recent graduate
- Carry out a range of basic support tasks following established processes and guidance
- Assist with other duties as required to support the team
- A heart for service and a willingness to learn under supervision
- Proof of legal right to work in Kiribati
- A police background check may be required
