About this role

Location: San Francisco, CA

Work Model: Onsite, 5 days per week

Industry: AI infrastructure / conversational AI

Compensation: $100K-$200K base

About the Company

Our partner is a fast-growing, seed-stage AI infrastructure startup building an end-to-end testing and observability platform for conversational AI, spanning both voice and chat agents. In under a year they have surpassed seven figures in ARR, backed by top-tier investors, and count global enterprises and Fortune 500 brands among their customers.

The Opportunity

As Head of Marketing, you will build and own the marketing function at a company known for bold, unconventional campaigns. This is a hybrid creative and technical role: you will pair standout, out-of-the-box brand marketing with a strong command of SEO and GEO, and help lead the company's move into a product-led growth motion.

You will have wide latitude to set the marketing vision, from narrative and content to demand and category creation, working directly with the founders in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities

- Own and shape the overall marketing strategy, narrative, and brand voice.
- Design and execute creative, out-of-the-box campaigns that stand out in a crowded market.
- Lead SEO and GEO strategy to drive organic discovery and growth.
- Create technical content credible to engineers, across blog posts, launches, paid experiments, and events.
- Build the product marketing motion as the company shifts toward product-led growth.
- Measure and report on pipeline influenced and demand created.

Requirements

- A hybrid marketer who is both highly creative and technically fluent.
- Experience marketing developer tools, infrastructure, or AI products to technical buyers.
- Strong understanding of SEO and GEO.
- A track record of inventive, memorable marketing campaigns and programs built from scratch.
- Experience at a pre-Series C startup; former founder or first marketing hire is a plus.
- Bias for action and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to work onsite in San Francisco five days per week.
