What You'll Do
Join us as we embark on a journey to transform BCG’s Finance organization. “Future Finance” is a multi-year journey to prepare the Finance function for the BCG of the future: a BCG that continues to grow, and one that has become more complex, more diverse and more interdependent. By rethinking structures and standardizing processes across geographies and business entities, we will make it simpler and more efficient to work together and flex to meet the needs of BCG. As part of the Global Accounts Payable team, you will help BCG’s Accounts Payable operations stay ahead of vendor payment risks. You will dive deep into defects, drive process efficiency, and be responsible for processing invoices and managing internal and external queries within the Global Payables process.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Review and validate invoices for completeness and accuracy (supplier details, bank account, invoice number and date, etc.) and route them to the right mailbox or workflow for processing and payment.
- Validate the tax treatment of invoices (e.g., VAT/GST, withholding tax, tax IDs, mandatory invoice fields) in line with applicable market requirements, and escalate exceptions.
- Meet SLAs on every request and maintain high-quality standards, minimizing defects and rework.
- Independently resolve internal and external queries from stakeholders and local offices, collaborating with Local Finance, Procurement and other teams to ensure timely resolution and high user satisfaction.
- Resolve queries proactively with a mindset to fix the process; maintain an RCA tracker for escalations received from local offices and stakeholders.
- Follow set processes and highlight where a change or update is needed.
- Complete ad hoc requests and other duties as needed with minimal oversight; support the team during peak workloads.
- Adhere to internal compliance policies and guidelines in daily operations and handle confidential data responsibly.
- Actively participate in organization-wide projects and initiatives.

- Exposure to processing European-based invoices preferred
- Excellent communication, articulation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
