About this role

About Perceptyne
Perceptyne is a deep-tech robotics startup building AI-powered semi-humanoid robots for automating dexterous and intelligent tasks on industrial shopfloors. These robots can be used in areas like electronics product assembly, Automotive assembly lines, warehouse operations, food preparation, etc. We are building technology that will push the boundary of robotics as we know it today!

How is it like to work at Perceptyne?
At our core, we like to build things, we evangelize great ideas, and we are grounded. At Perceptyne, we greatly value these dichotomies:  Having experience while not losing a first principles approach.  Having a large vision while not losing attention to detail  Working on disruptive tech while hitting the market ASAP

- MOSFET switching circuits, biasing, AC coupling

- Experience with high-speed and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.)

PCB Design & Tools

- Excellent proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium / KiCad / OrCAD or equivalent)
- Experience designing multi-layer PCBs with consideration for signal integrity and manufacturability
- Ability to review layouts for performance, noise, and thermal considerations

Testing, Debugging & Validation

- Strong hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, signal generators)
- Experience in board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis
- Ability to define and execute hardware validation and testing procedures

Manufacturing & Scale-up

- Experience working with vendors on PCB fabrication and assembly
