## About Dash Technologies
Dash Technologies Inc., headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, is a rapidly expanding IT services and staffing organization known for delivering high-quality talent solutions across enterprise and government clients in the United States. We specialize in compliance-driven hiring, VMS/MSP and Direct Client environments, and government-specific requirements, and we partner with over two dozen U.S. state government agencies on critical technology initiatives — including strategic programs such as AI strategy development and implementation. As we continue to scale our U.S. public sector practice, we are strengthening the leadership of our Business Development team with a professional who understands the nuances of selling into American state and local government agencies and can lead others to do the same.
##
## Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive Dash Technologies' continued growth in the U.S. SLED staffing space. This is a dual role: you will lead and drive a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) while remaining a hands-on individual contributor with your own revenue targets. Our territory is organized by state: each BDE is assigned a set of U.S. states, and you will hold your own individual states in the same way. The ideal candidate brings more than 8 years of experience, deep familiarity with American state and local government agency environments, exceptional American English communication skills, and sharp analytical capabilities. You will own the full business development cycle — from market research and lead generation to decision-maker engagement, relationship management, and strategic account expansion — for your own accounts, and you will be accountable for how your team executes that same cycle across U.S. State, Local and Education clients.
##
## Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and drive a team of Business Development Executives, each responsible for an assigned set of U.S. states, against their lead generation, outreach, meeting, and revenue targets.
- Set weekly and monthly activity plans for the team, run daily huddles and pipeline reviews, and hold each BDE accountable for disciplined follow-up.
- Review outreach quality, join calls with agency IT decisionmakers, and build each BDE's capability in U.S. state and local government selling.
- Report team and individual performance to leadership, including outreach activity, decision-maker meetings, pipeline, and revenue.
Individual Contribution
- Assume full responsibility for business development and revenue generation across an assigned territory of U.S. states. Within those states, generate new leads; identify and directly engage key agency decisionmakers, including CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and IT Managers; assess business opportunities; and qualify deals aligned with Dash Technologies' growth strategy.
- Acquire and develop trusted, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients in your assigned states, with a primary focus on State, Local & Education government agencies.
- Expand business with existing customers through consistent engagement, deep understanding of client needs, and proactive identification of growth opportunities across their programs.
- Build and sustain direct relationships with agency IT decision-makers through calls, email, LinkedIn, and meetings, so that Dash is known to them before a requirement is released.
Strategy and Market Development
- Design and execute comprehensive outbound sales and business development strategies, including structured sales processes, pipeline management, and adoption of industry best practices.
- Conduct and direct in-depth market research using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, and other modern AI-powered prospecting tools to track market trends, identify demand signals, and uncover new business opportunities in the U.S. public sector.
- Identify new statewide IT staffing contracts, cooperative vehicles, and local government accounts, and guide the registrations and enrollments needed to sell there.
- Maintain a competitive, market-aware mindset to continuously identify new business avenues that contribute to Dash Technologies' revenue, profitability, and project growth.
- Develop and execute effective sales, marketing, and business development plans, including market database acquisition, segmentation, and CRM integration.
- Consistently meet sales objectives, including project volume, revenue, and profitability targets, for yourself and your team.
##
Qualifications & Skills
- More than 8 years of Business Development / Sales experience in a service industry — preferably U.S. IT Consulting or Staffing.
- Proven experience leading a business development team while carrying individual targets.
- Strong familiarity with U.S. state and local government agency environments — including an understanding of procurement cycles, RFP/RFI processes, VMS/MSP platforms (Fieldglass, Dotstaff, etc.), and prime/subcontractor relationships.
- Excellent American English communication & comprehension — both written and verbal — with the ability to engage confidently with U.S. government stakeholders and enterprise decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills — able to interpret market data, evaluate opportunities, read and qualify RFPs, and translate insights into actionable business development strategies.
- A demonstrable record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Resourceful and proactive, with a willingness to conduct deep research on clients, prospects, and individual contacts.
- Presentable and professional demeanor suitable for representing Dash Technologies to senior U.S. clients.
- Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to coach and motivate others.
- Hands-on proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, CRM tools, and emerging AI-based prospecting platforms.
##
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience selling staffing or IT services into U.S. State & Local government agencies.
- Existing relationships with IT leadership in U.S. state and local government agencies.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks relevant to government staffing (E-Verify, I-9, state-specific clearances, MBE/WBE certifications).
- Experience working with U.S. Tier-1 System Integrators as a prime/sub partner on state engagements.
##
What We Offer

- A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with strong leadership support and clear career progression.
