ROLE SUMMARY:

An international school in Barcelona and the surrounding area is looking for a part-time bus supervisor (one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon) to start in October 2026. The salary is 400 euros per month

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of pupils to and from school, as well as taking part in educational trips, sports competitions and other school-related activities where required.

The highest standards of safety, professionalism and care must be maintained during journeys. The role requires a strong commitment to the protection and wellbeing of pupils, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will act as a representative of the school, maintaining a professional, respectful and courteous attitude at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure that pupils board, travel on and alight from the bus safely and in accordance with school procedures.

- Maintain order and ensure appropriate behaviour on the bus, reporting any incidents to the school management.

- Help to keep the vehicle clean.

- Assist with transport for school trips, sporting events and extra-curricular activities where necessary.

- Communicate professionally with pupils, families, school staff and other stakeholders.

- Support pupil protection and safeguarding procedures, promoting their wellbeing at all times.

- Carry out any other duties relevant to the post that may be assigned by the management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Ability to comply with local regulatory requirements applicable to school transport.
