Weekdays 6:30a-3:00p with rotating weekends/holidays
General Summary
The Blood Bank Support Technician performs a variety of general support duties in specimen processing and component preparation for transfusion services. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to healthcare and patient safety.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- Less than 1-year Relevant experience. Required
Driver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Courses and Training:
- Medical terminology. Upon Hire Preferred

- Good keyboarding & communications skills
