Job Summary
KN International is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector for a villa construction project in Liwa, Abu Dhabi. The role involves inspecting and monitoring electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. Candidates must have relevant UAE experience in villa or building construction, electrical installations, and site inspection, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections of electrical installation works in villas and buildings to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Inspect electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and associated electrical equipment.
- Inspect electrical containment systems, including conduits, trunking, cable trays, and cable installations.
- Verify the installation of electrical equipment and ensure proper workmanship and compliance with approved materials and specifications.
- Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
- Identify defects and non-conformities, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and risk assessments related to electrical works.
- Monitor electrical testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure electrical works comply with applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, project specifications, and HSE standards.
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections, daily activities, testing results, and quality issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve site-related technical issues.
- Attend progress meetings and provide updates on electrical works, inspection findings, and quality concerns.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical inspection, with experience in villa/building construction projects in the UAE .
- Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, wiring, and electrical installations.
- Experience in site inspections, quality control, and electrical testing procedures.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations, authority requirements, construction standards, and project specifications.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
