About this role

Job description:

Are you passionate about bringing your experience to a world class company that is market leading in both content and technology? If yes, we're looking for you.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented Sales Support Coordinator Manager to lead the Sales Support Coordinator team in our Mexico City office and to act as a working contributor on data, reporting, and analytics for the Sales and Leadership teams.

The position combines people leadership with direct individual contribution. The Manager is accountable for the performance, quality, and development of the team, including the Sales Support Coordinator Lead, while retaining ownership of a meaningful share of the data and reporting delivered to Sales and Leadership, using tools such as Alteryx, advanced Excel, and Salesforce. The role is well suited to an experienced professional who values structure and process discipline, develops others, and can translate complex data into clear insight, with strong expectations for accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities:

In this opportunity as a Sales Support Coordinator Manager, you will lead the team by:

- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Support Coordinators, with the Sales Support Coordinator Lead reporting directly to you.
- Owning workload planning and prioritization across the team, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of all support activities.
- Acting as the senior point of contact for Sales and Leadership on support needs, clarifying requirements and setting expectations on scope and turnaround.
- Setting performance expectations and running regular one to one meetings, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
- Leading hiring, onboarding, and training for the team, and building the documentation and playbooks that make onboarding repeatable.
- Ensuring the team adheres to the hybrid work policy, including monitoring and reinforcing that coordinators are in the office the minimum required days.
- Serving as the escalation point for the team, including acting as a DCA escalation point and liaison with Customer Service on customer related issues such as complaints and technical support.
- Coordinating with other departments on customer issues, including Customer Service, Professional Services, Solution Consulting, Proposition, and the Order team.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and standardize processes, documenting best practices, and training the team on new tools and workflows.

You will also:

- Extracting, transforming, and consolidating data from multiple systems, such as Salesforce, internal databases, and spreadsheets, using Alteryx and advanced Excel.
- Building and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards on sales performance, pipeline, campaign results, and customer usage for Sales and Leadership.
- Owning data quality in Salesforce, including data cleansing, deduplication, and periodic audits of lead, account, and opportunity records, and setting the standards the team follows.
- Analyzing trends and producing clear, concise summaries and visualizations that support decision making, rather than handing over raw data.
- Automating manual and recurring reporting through Alteryx workflows and Excel automation to reduce effort across the team.
- Consolidating and interpreting campaign performance metrics, for example response rates, meetings booked, and pipeline influenced, and reporting on them to leadership.
- Maintaining core sales databases and reporting on sales numbers, usage, and online versus print content.
- Partnering with Sales Operations and Marketing on reporting requirements, definitions, and metric consistency.

Required Qualifications:

You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6 or more years of experience in sales support, sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role supporting sales teams, including at least 2 years formally managing or leading a team.
- Fluent English, spoken and written, with strong, professional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas, basic macros or automation, and reporting, and the ability to build and refine reports and templates for the team.
- Hands on experience with Alteryx, or a similar ETL or data preparation tool, for data blending, transformation, and workflow automation.
- Strong, hands on experience with Salesforce, or a similar CRM, to manage and report on leads, accounts, opportunities, and activities, and to guide others in best practices.
- Demonstrated ownership of data quality and reporting standards, with a methodical approach to validating and reconciling data.
- Comfort working with large data sets and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop others, and to give clear feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly, and to help others do the same.
- Proven track record of maintaining stable performance under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Resilience, persistence, and patience when facing challenges or data issues, with the ability to support and motivate team members through change.
- Openness and flexibility to adapt to new situations, processes, and ways of working, and to drive continuous improvement across the team.
