Los Angeles Equestrian Center

The Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC) is a one-of-a-kind, 75-acre property nestled in the heart of Griffith Park, dedicated to the love of horses and the equestrian community. LAEC offers a welcoming space for equine enthusiasts and professionals alike, providing boarding facilities, training arenas, and a calendar of events that range from local competitions to prestigious equestrian showcases. In addition to serving as a hub for horse-related activities, LAEC is also home to various special events, blending the charm of nature with the energy of LA's cultural scene.

Job Summary

It is the primary responsibility of the custodian to maintain the cleanliness & upkeep of the internal & external Los Angeles Equestrian Center property. To Include but not limited to, operating floorcare equipment, windows/glass, floors, walls, indoor and outdoor restrooms. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
- Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing, and kneeling.
- Work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas.
- Requires attention to detail, good organizational skills and must be friendly and courteous.
- Knowledge of tools, supplies, and methods used in custodial work.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Must have the ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Works effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, with the ability to work in cooperation with others.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, able to always follow uniform policy.
