HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
- Lead an accounting team, ensuring all team members produce accurate, timely financial information to internal and external customers.
- Act as department liaison to promote effective communication and ensure good customer relations.
- Complete, assist, review, and improve processes, procedures, and complex account reconciliations.
- Prepare audit/tax schedules and regulatory reports.
- Work under minimum supervision.
Reports To:
- Assistant Controller
Supervises:
- None. Leads, but does not directly supervise, an accounting team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Required Experience:
- 3 Years of Accounting Experience
Preferred Experience:
- Four (4) or more years of accounting experience.
- Accounting software experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Spreadsheet skills.
- Database skills.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- None
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 473 (Public Accountancy).
