Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting and hiring qualified talent through innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies. This position collaborates with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, identify top candidates, and manage the recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for a variety of positions.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding support.
- Build candidate pipelines through job boards, networking, referrals, professional associations, career fairs, and other recruitment channels.
- Manage candidate activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate background checks, employment eligibility verification, and pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain job requisitions and job descriptions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Respond to applicant and employee inquiries related to employment and recruitment.
- Maintain employee documentation and electronic personnel files.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Track recruitment metrics and hiring activity.
- Travel up to 10% for recruiting events and workforce development initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and employment regulations.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting processes.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, applicant tracking systems, and online sourcing tools.
- Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred

- Healthcare recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for clinical and non-clinical positions.
- Knowledge of HRIS and ATS platforms.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
