Business Project Manager | Business Process & Portfolio Coordination for New Business (內湖瑞光)

Advantech is seeking an experienced New Business Development (NBD) Business Project Manager to help advance its strategic new business portfolio through structured processes, data-driven insights, and effective cross-functional coordination.

You will work closely with business units and internal stakeholders to establish a consistent planning and review cadence, track progress across initiatives, and improve the processes that support new business development. Your responsibilities will include coordinating quarterly strategy reviews, analyzing resource utilization and business progress, and ensuring that key decisions translate into clear follow-up actions.

This role calls for a hands-on professional with logical thinking, sound judgment, and the patience to align stakeholders and sustain progress as new initiatives evolve.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate portfolio progress: Consolidate updates across strategic new business initiatives, track milestones and action items, and highlight issues requiring attention or decisions.
- Develop and improve NBD processes: Design, implement, and refine internal workflows, reporting formats, and review mechanisms to support consistent planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Analyze data and resource effectiveness: Compile and analyze business data, performance indicators, and resource utilization to identify gaps and provide insights for management reviews.
- Coordinate quarterly strategy reviews: Plan and facilitate NBD strategy meetings, align agendas and review materials, document key decisions, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Organize NBD workshops: Coordinate workshop objectives, participants, materials, and logistics, and consolidate outcomes into actionable next steps.
- Connect stakeholders and resources: Work across business units and supporting functions to clarify responsibilities, address process bottlenecks, and coordinate the resources needed to move initiatives forward.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in program or project management, business operations, strategic planning, financial analysis, consulting, or related functions.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing cross-functional processes or programs and following through from planning to execution.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex information, interpret business data, and develop practical recommendations.
- Experience establishing workflows, reporting mechanisms, and regular business reviews, with strong attention to accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with business teams and senior management.
- Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to aligning stakeholders, coordinating resources, and maintaining progress through changing priorities.
- Interest in new ventures, business innovation, and how emerging opportunities contribute to business growth.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, including business discussions, presentations, and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a startup, corporate innovation team, or new business development function.
- Experience in market analysis or assessing industry trends to support business planning.
- Experience coordinating management reviews, strategy workshops, or a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives.
- Background in the technology or engineering sector.
- Familiarity with Edge Computing, Edge AI, Robotics, or Industrial IoT.
