- Cost Optimization & Value Engineering: Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions through competitive bidding, design-to-cost initiatives, and cross-functional value engineering workshops with R&D and engineering teams.
- Contract Management & Negotiation: Lead high-value contract negotiations, securing favorable commercial terms, risk mitigation clauses, IP protection, and long-term price stability.
- Risk & Supply Chain Resilience: Identify supply chain bottlenecks, single-source vulnerabilities, and geopolitical risks; formulate robust mitigation and dual-sourcing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Project Management to ensure seamless NPI (New Product Introduction) and on-time project execution.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all suppliers comply with Siemens' environmental, health, safety (EHS), conflict minerals, and compliance standards (ISO, RoHS, REACH, etc.).

Desired Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline. (MBA or advanced supply chain certification like CPSM/CIPS is a strong plus).
- Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of progressive professional experience in strategic procurement, supply chain, or sourcing within the manufacturing, industrial automation, switchgear, or heavy engineering sector.

• Deep, demonstrable technical expertise in Cabinets (sheet metal fabrication, surface treatment/powder coating, thermal management, IP ratings, structural design, and electrical integration).

- Technical Acumen: Ability to read engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications for custom and standard enclosures.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar spend portfolios, executing complex international contracts, and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Tools & Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and e-sourcing tools.

· Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills. Fluency in English is required .
