Real Estate Asset & Investment Management Intern

We are looking for a Real Estate Asset & Investment Management Intern to join our Real Estate Team at the Holding Company of Bolton, based in Milan.

How you make the difference

This internship is designed for someone who wants to understand how real estate decisions are shaped and executed, from investment analysis to the technical and operational reality of each asset. You will work on live projects involving asset management, acquisitions, disposals, leasing and redevelopment, gaining a privileged view of different ownership perspectives and business needs. The result is a learning path that goes well beyond a single discipline and builds a practical understanding of the full real estate lifecycle.

How your agenda looks like:

- Support the day-to-day management of the Real Estate activities from small-scale projects to major real estate initiatives.

- Assist with acquisition, disposal and leasing processes, from preliminary analysis and document collection through due diligence, data-room management, Q&A tracking and closing coordination.

- Support in preparing and updating financial analyses, cash-flow models, valuations, budgets, management reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

- Assist in coordinating information and workstreams with internal functions and external outsourcers, including brokers, technical, legal and tax advisors, maintaining clear trackers and follow-up actions.

- Assist in conducting market research and benchmarking and support initiatives relating to asset optimization, redevelopment, repositioning and letting, gaining exposure to different asset classes, markets and business needs.

Your team:

You will report to the Real Estate Asset Manager and work closely with colleagues within Factor Holding. You will also interact with leading brokers and technical, legal, tax and financial advisors in Italy and abroad.

What makes you a great fit:

- Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in progress or recently completed in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field. A specialized master’s degree in Real Estate is preferred.

- Profile: either a technical background with a strong interest in finance and investment analysis, or a financial background with genuine curiosity and motivation to develop a solid understanding of the technical aspects of real estate.

- Technical skills: good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with real estate cash flows and valuation principles is a plus.

- Languages: fluent Italian and good professional English, both written and spoken.

- Personal skills: intellectual curiosity, analytical mindset, accuracy, organization, ownership of deadlines, clear communication, discretion and a proactive, collaborative approach.
