Location: Northern Virginia, VA
Pay: $35 to $55 per hour
Full-time, W-2 employment with Rinvio, working on site with our client.
Bring your journeyman-level electrical skills to on-site installation assignments involving commercial facilities or data centers. This role combines practical wiring and raceway installation with work involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), guided by project drawings, safety rules, and quality standards.
What you will do
- Perform electrical installation tasks for commercial buildings or data center facilities according to the assigned project scope.
- Set up cable tray pathways and fit conduit to provide the routing needed for each installation.
- Bend conduit, run wire, and pull conductors along routes specified in the project plans.
- Complete assigned electrical work associated with PLC systems as part of the installation scope.
- Coordinate your installation activities with fellow field personnel and crews from other trades.
- Use drawings to guide installation work while observing site-specific safety practices and meeting the project's quality requirements.
What you bring
- At least six years spent performing electrical installations, with field skills at the journeyman level.
- A background in commercial electrical projects or data center installations; experience in either setting is sufficient.
- Practical ability to install cable trays, bend and fit conduit, and run and pull wiring.
- Direct experience working on PLC equipment and related electrical systems in a field setting.
- Electrical installation experience with systems in the low-to-medium voltage range.
