Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator to join a manufacturing team in Anderson, SC. This position is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce accurate, high-quality metal parts according to production specifications.

The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC laser machinery, working with sheet metal, and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings. Candidates with a strong manufacturing background and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components.
- Load materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs.
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Verify cut dimensions and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
- Identify equipment issues, cutting defects, or material discrepancies and report them appropriately.
- Follow production schedules and maintain consistent workflow.
- Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow established safety procedures when handling sheet metal and operating machinery.
- Work with production team members to meet quality and output goals.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
- Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, or CNC machine operation is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
- Basic understanding of measurements, dimensions, and quality inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate parts.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new processes
