The HR Operations - APAC team delivers reliable, people-focused HR services that support employees and business teams across the region. We help turn company policies and programs into consistent, practical experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
Operating across diverse markets means balancing regional consistency with local regulations, practices, and employee needs. The team works across functions to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and ensure employees receive accurate and timely support.
You will help shape scalable HR operations in one of the world’s most dynamic regions, improving everyday employee experiences while enabling teams to work effectively and grow with confidence.
- Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, outputs and statutory reporting;
- Participate in the improvement and implementation of payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy;
- Support payroll and benefit processes landing according to new policies or law and regulation changes;
- Provide payroll reporting & analysis and assist with internal and external audits;
- Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA;
- Develop relationships with local authorities, not limited to Social Security, Tax, etc;
- Partner and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team to elevate employee experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in payroll and a solid understanding of fundamental payroll concepts are required;
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in cross-cultural communication;
- Prior internship experience with a top-tier accounting firm is required;
- Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with data; completion of at least 11 ACCA papers is required;
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and French is required, as French is used as a working language for business needs.
Preferred Qualification
- Candidates with overseas work experience preferred;
- Willingness to work shifts is preferred.
