About Zentro
Zentro is one of the largest independent internet service providers focused exclusively on multi-dwelling units (MDUs) in the United States. Following our recent merger with BAI Connect, Zentro now serves over 100,000 subscribers across key markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver and Detroit.

We specialize in delivering bulk internet and managed Wi-Fi solutions purpose-built for apartment communities, high-rises, and mixed-use developments. Our fully owned network infrastructure, resident-first support model, and tailored technology stack enable us to offer a refreshingly different alternative to legacy providers - one rooted in simplicity, reliability, and satisfaction.

Role Overview
The Project Manager II independently manages complex projects, specialized accounts, and implementations across multi-family, commercial, and hybrid property environments. The role coordinates cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned with contractual obligations, customer expectations, operational requirements, and delivery standards.

Applying sound judgment and specialized knowledge, the Project Manager II resolves nonstandard challenges, supports process improvement, and escalates material risks or exceptions as appropriate. The role also guides Project Manager I team members and may assume ownership of stalled, delayed, or at-risk projects to remove barriers and drive them through completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of complex projects and specialized accounts across multi-family, commercial, and hybrid property environments nationwide, balancing competing priorities, deliverables, dependencies, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements, overseeing execution from initiation through installation and final completion in alignment with contractual obligations, SLAs, and customer commitments.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain project momentum and minimize operational disruption, rework, and customer impact.
- Serve as a primary project management contact for assigned projects and complex implementations, maintaining an understanding of account-specific agreements, property configurations, service requirements, and operational expectations.
- Coordinate with Project Developers, General Contractors, Construction Managers, Property Management teams, and internal stakeholders to establish project requirements, maintain alignment, communicate updates, and resolve issues.
- Exercise independent judgment in navigating changing project conditions, competing priorities, and installation constraints, applying established processes while recognizing when alternative approaches may be necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges within assigned authority, recommend practical solutions when standard procedures do not adequately address project requirements, and escalate material risks, exceptions, or decisions requiring additional approval or cross-functional intervention.
- Serve as a resource for Project Manager I team members by providing guidance, coaching, knowledge sharing, and hands-on support to help resolve challenges and maintain project progress.
- Assist with or assume ownership of stalled, at-risk, or delayed projects, including those approaching or exceeding established SLAs, by coordinating additional resources, removing barriers, resolving outstanding issues, and driving projects through final completion.
- Coordinate with Construction, Field Service, Operations, Sales, Finance, and other supporting departments to align project requirements, schedules, labor availability, equipment, and installation resources.
- Coordinate site access and readiness with client representatives, contractors, third parties, and end users to support efficient field execution and minimize avoidable delays.
- Validate bills of materials (BOMs), equipment requests, project budgets, labor requirements, contractual deliverables, and billing considerations to support accurate execution and project handoff.
- Maintain accurate project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and milestone documentation, providing timely updates to the PMO Manager regarding progress, risks, delays, resource constraints, and issues requiring escalation.
- Identify recurring project challenges and recommend improvements to workflows, communication, documentation, and execution practices to strengthen consistency, efficiency, and successful project delivery.
- Manage cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives that address internal operational issues affecting the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, coordinating stakeholders, identifying root causes, and supporting sustainable solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
