About this role
The Electrical Distribution Systems Design and Release (D&R) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, release and industrialization of the wiring harnesses under their responsibility. The EDS D&R is also responsible for design improvements that lead to quality increase, cost and weight optimization.
- 0-2+ Years of Experience with role or related
- Engineering Degree (electrical, mechanical desirable) or related disciplines.
- Strong English Proficiency (written, read, and oral).
- Basic 3D CAD and Teamcenter tool knowledge
- Microsoft Office Usage (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Time and Project Management.
- Ford GPDS.
- Understanding of feature partitioning.
- Understanding of automotive systems.
- Usage of AI as a tool for process improvements.
