About this role

Storytelling is, and will always be, the heart of what we do at Skydance.
Our vision is to build a thriving entertainment ecosystem where stories and worlds are imagined, brought to life and experienced. We create for every age and audience, anchored by the strength of our content and experiences and the depth of our connection with fans. If you’re energized by the opportunity to help build the next-generation global media and entertainment company powered by creativity and technology, we’d be thrilled to welcome you aboard. LET’S GO!

Two years. Three rotations. One launchpad to lead.

The Finance Leadership Development Program turns ambitious, innovative Analysts into Skydance’s next generation of Finance leaders. Starting summer 2027, you’ll join as a full-time employee for a two-year program, rotating through three eight-month assignments across our Finance organization — learning the business from the inside, building real financial and leadership skills, and pitching your own capstone project directly to company leadership. A dedicated mentor is with you every step of the way.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Financial Modeling & Forecasting

Craft and maintain complex financial models that shape real budgeting, forecasting, and expense optimization across the business

- Turn data into direction — translate KPIs and core business metrics into analyses leadership will use to drive decisions

- Capstone Innovation Project

- Identify a real business problem, build a solution, and pitch it directly to company leadership — a chance most analysts don’t get until years into their career

- On-the-Job Training & Leadership Development

- Own real, high-impact work from day one — guided by your manager and a dedicated mentor invested in your growth

- Receive comprehensive AI training, including in-depth sessions on how and when to use finance and other enterprise-wide tools

- Sharpen your leadership edge through recurring feedback, a day shadowing an executive, and dedicated leadership training

- Reporting & Close

- Own critical pieces of the monthly and quarterly close — accruals, reconciliation, and variance analysis that keep the business accurate

- Dive into the general ledger and turn raw numbers into clear, actionable reports

- Run the quarterly payment process end-to-end

- Business Partnership

- Partner directly with finance, accounting, and business leaders — your insight helps shape how the business plans ahead

- Take on ad hoc, high-visibility requests that put your problem-solving in front of the people who matter

- Build a cross-functional network of relationships that will follow you for the rest of your career
