The Role
Kyndryl's Cyber Resilience & Connectivity Practice is helping organizations build trust, resilience, and security in an increasingly complex digital world. As cyber threats continue to evolve, Identity has become the foundation of modern security architectures, enabling organizations to securely manage access, reduce risk, and accelerate digital transformation.
We are seeking a Customer Technology Advisor specializing in Identity, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Zero Trust Security who combines deep technical credibility with strong business development and consulting capabilities.
This is not a traditional delivery-focused architecture role.
Success in this position will be defined by your ability to build executive relationships, develop opportunities, influence security strategies, and help clients realize measurable business outcomes through Identity-centric security solutions.
As a trusted advisor, you will engage directly with CIOs, CISOs, Chief Risk Officers, and senior business leaders to shape security roadmaps, identify transformation opportunities, and position Kyndryl as a strategic cybersecurity partner. You will leverage your expertise in IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust to drive meaningful conversations that translate business challenges into actionable security strategies.
You will play a critical role in expanding Kyndryl's Cyber Resilience & Connectivity footprint by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and supporting pursuit teams throughout the sales lifecycle. Working closely with Kyndryl Consult, Client Partners, Sales Leaders, Alliance Partners, and Delivery Teams, you will help drive growth across the Canadian market.
In this role, you will focus on:
Customer Success
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, security leaders, and business executives.
- Act as a strategic advisor on Identity, PAM, Zero Trust, and Digital Trust initiatives.
- Lead executive workshops, assessments, and roadmap discussions focused on business outcomes and risk reduction.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into language and value propositions that resonate with business leaders.
- Support client success by ensuring security strategies align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and operational priorities.
- Position Kyndryl as a trusted long-term partner for security transformation initiatives.
Commercial Success
- Identify, qualify, and shape new IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
- Support pipeline generation, opportunity development, proposal creation, and pursuit execution.
- Contribute directly to revenue growth, business development, and account expansion objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, and Alliance teams to create differentiated solutions and winning strategies.
- Leverage industry relationships and professional networks to develop new business opportunities.
- Support renewals, expansions, and strategic cybersecurity transformation engagements.
Distinctive Expertise
- Serve as Kyndryl's subject matter expert across Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Lead strategic discussions regarding identity modernization, digital trust, workforce identity, and privileged access security.
- Guide clients in developing target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with strategic alliance partners including Microsoft, CyberArk, SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, and other ecosystem partners.
- Support opportunity development from initial client engagement through solution definition and delivery transition.
- Act as a thought leader both internally and externally through client engagements, industry events, and alliance activities.
Market Leadership
- Develop executive-level relationships within the Canadian cybersecurity market.
- Represent Kyndryl at conferences, executive roundtables, customer events, and partner engagements.
- Identify emerging market trends and help shape Kyndryl's Identity and Zero Trust strategy.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of Kyndryl's Digital Trust and Identity Security capabilities.
People
- Mentor and coach team members across Cyber Resilience & Connectivity practice.
- Share expertise and contribute to capability development within Identity and Zero Trust domains.
- Foster collaboration across consulting, sales, delivery, and alliance organizations.
- Support Kyndryl's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion objectives and lead through positive example.
