Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive AS400 development initiatives for a major retail client using Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. The role involves designing, coding, and delivering robust back‑end functionality, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions that meet business objectives.
- 10+ years of professional experience in AS400 (IBM iSeries) development.
- Strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for retail environments.
- Proficiency in RPG, COBOL, CL, and SQL on IBM i platforms.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing full software lifecycles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to debug complex system issues.
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Application Developer – iSeries) are a plus.
