# A Day in the Life
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with the Diabetes business. Medtronic announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and to reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. The Diabetes division, now known as MiniMed, completed its IPO in March 2026. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investment to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon completion of required local legal and employment processes, we expect your employment to transfer to MiniMed, subject to business needs and any applicable information and consultation requirements in your jurisdiction.

Join our Diabetes team supporting regional business operations across Emerging EMEA and gain hands-on experience in business analytics, product allocation management, demand planning, and commercial operations.

As an Intern, you will work closely with regional leaders and cross-functional teams, helping to ensure product availability, support business decision-making, and improve operational processes. This role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial and supply-related activities within a global MedTech organization.

Internship Details:

• Start date: 15th November / 1st December 2026

• Location: Warsaw, Poland or Prague, Czechia

• Duration: 6 months

• Working hours: Poland - 30 hours per week; Czechia - 20 hours per week

• Work model: hybrid - 2 days per week in the office (in Warsaw or Prague)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support the maintenance of regional product allocation trackers, reporting tools, and data validation activities

• Assist with monitoring product availability, consolidating allocation requirements, and preparing allocation summaries and management reports

• Help maintain and improve recurring business reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Microsoft Excel and Power BI

• Support analysis of sales performance, inventory trends, product utilization, and key business performance indicators

• Assist regional teams with demand planning, forecasting activities, portfolio management initiatives, and business planning processes

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree (you must be a student during the entire internship duration)

• Fluency in English (at least B2 upper-intermediate level)

• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

• Strong organizational, cross-cultural communication, and teamwork skills with a proactive attitude and attention to detail

Would be a plus:

• Experience working with AI, Power BI, SharePoint, or other business intelligence and collaboration tools

Pay: Poland - 40 PLN gross per hour; Czechia: 200 CZK gross per hour
The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.
