Pay & Schedule
- Average Annual Pay: $75,000
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,442
- Pay Rate: $0.50–$0.52 CPM
- Sign-On Bonus: $7,500
- Miles: Approximately 1,024 per week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Saturday Work: 1–2 Saturdays per month
- Start Times: Between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
- Home Time: Daily
- Major Holidays Off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
Job Details
- Dedicated local live-haul operation
- Pick up live chickens from farms and deliver them to a facility near Selbyville, DE
- Approximately 3 inbound loads per day
- Haul poultry cages on flatbed trailers
- Secure loads using straps and a cheater bar
- Farm roads may include steep grades, bumps, and ditches
- Operate automatic day cabs; trucks must remain at the account during time off
- Routes operate within approximately a 300-mile radius of Selbyville, DE
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be able to secure poultry cages safely using straps and a cheater bar
- Must be comfortable driving on uneven farm roads and navigating challenging terrain
- Live-haul experience preferred but not required
