Earn an average of $86,400 per year hauling intermodal freight on a local account based in Chambersburg, PA . Enjoy daily home time , a Tuesday–Saturday night schedule, multiple opportunities for additional pay, and a limited-time $10,000 bonus .
Pay Details
- Average Annual Pay: $86,400
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,700
- Standard Shift: $0.45–$0.55 per hub mile
- Weekend Wraparound Shift: $0.51–$0.61 per hub mile for Thursday–Monday or Friday–Tuesday schedules
- $10,000 bonus available for a limited time
- Hazmat load pay: $40 per load
- Detention pay: Available for customer and rail delays, subject to applicable waiting-time rules
- Additional activity-based pay may apply for qualifying loads, moves, training, and other duties.
Job Details
- Dedicated local intermodal operation
- Haul containers within approximately a 250-mile radius of Chambersburg, PA
- Approximately 1,500 miles per week
- Majority no-touch freight
- Drop-and-hook, live loads/unloads, and other intermodal moves
- Onsite management
- Paid online orientation
Shift Details
- Home daily
- Tuesday–Saturday
- 7:00 PM start
- Typically 10–11 hours per day
- Rail ramp operates 24/7, subject to holiday operations
- Non-smoking position
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to safely operate intermodal equipment and handle applicable load-related duties
