Event Presentation Production Assistant

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. Who are we hiring?

We are seeking a self-starting individual for a Production Assistant role. This role will support the operation and management for all dance team and performance teams for the NY Knicks Event Presentation department. This includes assisting with general tasks during Knicks home games, live events and appearances.

What will you do?

- Support talent and management during games, events, auditions, orientation, seminars and meetings.

- Act as a runner distributing messages or items within talent, management, office and arena

- Preparing, packing and delivering items for any KCD/KCK sanctioned event such as headsets, wardrobe, props, paperwork, and communications

- Work closely with social media team to provide equipment and content capture support

- Assist in content organization throughout and after games/events

- Retrieve and deliver items from local stores or vendors as needed

- Acting as onsite contact for meeting important guests

- Undertake errands as assigned

- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

- Previous experience as a Production Assistant or being part of a live production preferred

- Available to work Knicks games as needed based on team schedule which occur nights/evening/weekends/holidays

- Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and work quickly and under pressure

- Experience with social media, media and content management and camera and lighting equipment required

- Must work well in high pressure environments and thrive in team settings

- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability

- Resourcefulness and problem-solving

- A team player with great communication skills

- Comfortable engaging with supervisors, management and talent

- Must be available for majority of Knicks home games throughout the season (8 hour days)

Hourly Pay Range $35 — $35 USD
