Your Role

We are hiring a Loan Officer to join our team in Porto (hybrid work) .

Main responsibilities:

- Perform Ownership Verification and Record Keeping activities, ensuring accurate processing and maintenance of loan and fund records.

- Conduct document, position, and holdings reconciliations , investigating and resolving discrepancies or data breaks.

- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and certification records in line with internal controls and compliance standards.

- Liaise with clients, Asset Managers, Loan Agents, Fund Accountants, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve queries.

- Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency initiatives, and team knowledge-sharing activities.

Your Profile

- Academic background in Management, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field .

- At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, loan administration, reconciliation, record keeping, or a similar operational banking environment.

- Solid understanding of reconciliation processes, data validation, and operational controls within financial services.

- Strong Excel skills , with the ability to analyse, reconcile, and interpret large data sets accurately.

- Previous exposure to a Banking, Asset Management, Fund Services, or Financial Services environment .

- Fluency in English , both written and spoken.

- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across multiple teams and external parties.
