Senior DevOps Engineer – Salesforce
Are you passionate about building secure, resilient cloud platforms that support critical services in highly regulated environments? As a Senior DevOps Engineer - Salesforce, you'll play a key role in designing, automating and operating the engineering capabilities that underpin a major Salesforce platform. You'll help drive DevSecOps best practice across Salesforce and AWS environments, ensuring solutions remain secure, compliant, scalable and reliable.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll partner with Architects, Developers, Test Engineers and Product Owners to embed automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle, improve operational resilience, and support the delivery of business-critical services. This is an exciting opportunity to influence engineering standards, enhance platform observability, and shape how modern cloud and Salesforce services are delivered within a governance and compliance-led environment.
This is a hybrid role based in London, with an expectation of 2 days per week in the office.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce and AWS platforms.
- Driving automation through Infrastructure as Code, deployment tooling and reusable engineering patterns.
- Supporting the availability, performance, resilience and operational stability of Salesforce-based services across development, test and production environments.
- Embedding security controls, automated compliance validation, vulnerability management and secure-by-design principles throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to improve observability, incident response and operational insight.
- Supporting incident, problem and change management activities while continuously improving DevOps maturity and platform capabilities.
What you'll bring:
- Strong DevOps engineering experience within complex enterprise or highly regulated environments.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Strong AWS cloud engineering expertise and experience managing cloud-hosted environments.
- Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes, including release management, deployment tooling and environment strategies.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including security automation, compliance controls, policy enforcement and vulnerability management.
- Experience with scripting, Git source control, automated deployments and platform performance optimisation.
It would be great if you had:
- Salesforce certifications.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated sectors.
- ITIL qualifications or experience

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
