Responsibilities
- Investigate mechanical and electrical equipment issues to identify failed or at-risk components and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Review mechanical, electrical, and assembly drawings to determine appropriate repair and replacement parts for manufacturing equipment.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and implementation of component upgrades and equipment improvement projects across CNC, PLC, and manual machines.
- Track project milestones, follow-up items, vendor deliverables, and implementation schedules to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Recommend new technologies and replacement strategies to enhance long-term equipment reliability and supportability.
- Lead or support project planning and management activities, including defining scope, timelines, and resource needs for equipment-related projects.
- Coordinate communications and follow-up meetings with OEMs and suppliers to obtain technical information, parts, and support for equipment upgrades and repairs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including equipment records, part lists, and upgrade documentation, to support ongoing maintenance and reliability efforts.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to align equipment reliability initiatives with manufacturing needs and schedules.
- Utilize reliability engineering principles, project tracking tools, and structured troubleshooting methods to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance.
Essential Skills
