What you’ll be doing …

As a Distinguished Engineer in Network & Technology IT, you will serve as the domain expert in Network Service Assurance. Your primary objective is driving autonomous, intent-driven network operations for global management teams. Key responsibilities include building AI-driven agentic workflows, integrating wireless and wireline surveillance, correlation, and ticketing systems, and incorporating 3rd party tools. You will lead end-to-end program delivery across network engineering and provisioning using legacy and modern solutions, providing thought leadership in ideation and requirements sessions.

You will lead design and development for alarm/event processing, correlation, and automation. Your role encompasses DevSecOps leadership and technology modernization—specifically refactoring legacy workflow, correlation, and automation systems to modern, cloud-native Standard Operating Environment (SOE) standards.

In collaboration with Centralized and Enterprise Architecture teams, you will align on solutions, domain boundaries, and high-level architectural principles. You will partner with development teams in Planning, Engineering, Inventory, and Workflow/Orchestration to align HLDs and API definitions, ensuring timely delivery with cross-functional partners. Key responsibilities include:

- End-to-End Core Architecture: Architecting end-to-end functionality across core modules ( UFM, UWA, SA360/UTP ) for key wireline and wireless initiatives ( ANO360, Frontier Integration, iEN, Sesame ).
- Workflow Modernization: Leading the modernization of legacy alarm processing, ticketing, and jBPM workflows into scalable, event-driven microservices architectures .
- API & Resiliency Standards: Defining blueprint patterns and standards to refactor legacy automations into API-driven workflows with high resiliency, observability, and self-healing.
- Development Execution & Code Quality: Leading development teams to ensure solid code implementation, data integrity, traceability, performance, and resiliency in workflow execution.
- Executive Leadership & Facilitation: Partnering with Director and VP-level leadership to drive decision-making velocity, facilitate working sessions, and align cross-functional technical teams.
- Organizational Change Management: Acting as an effective change agent using stakeholder analysis and structured change management techniques.
- Directional Architecture & Governance: Creating architectural enablers and conducting design reviews to align systems with the Directional Architecture , Standard Operating Environment (SOE) , and domain boundaries.
- Talent Mentorship: Mentoring upcoming architects and development leads in the Service Assurance space.
- Cross-Functional Technical Guidance: Providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams in crafting solutions and detailing system and process impacts.
- Mission-Critical Domain Support: Supporting mission- and business-critical applications in Network Systems across provisioning and service qualification domains.
- Continuous Delivery & Vendor Alignment: Aligning teams to a shared technical direction and partnering with vendors and internal teams to validate assumptions, evaluate options, and build the Continuous Delivery Pipeline .
- Agile Planning & Solution Definition: Participating in Development Cycle (DC) Planning , System/Solution Demos, Inspect & Adapt events, and exploring high-level solution trade-offs.
- Program Execution & Process Optimization: Creating, leading, and executing programs focused on process optimization and technology adoption to maximize business value.
- Full-Lifecycle Solution Architecture: Delivering end-to-end solution architecture from definition through go-live across Logical, Technical, and Physical views for new and existing problem spaces.
- Frameworks & Schema Standardization: Defining reusable components, common schemas, standards, and tools to bootstrap the Service Qualification team.
- Advanced Engineering & AI Innovation: Driving adoption of best software engineering practices and modern technologies ( AI, LLM, ARG ) to impact the broader product architecture ecosystem.
