In this role, you will work closely with NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, warfare centers, and fleet operators to ensure new capabilities are effectively transitioned into operational use across Navy platforms.   As a Fleet Introduction SME, you will develop and coordinate fleet introduction plans, support system integration and evaluation events, and help shape tactics, training, and procedures that enhance warfighter readiness. Your efforts will directly contribute to accelerating advanced kill chain capabilities to the fleet, improving maritime situational awareness, and strengthening overall mission effectiveness. You will collaborate with engineering, test, logistics, and operational teams to ensure a smooth transition of emerging technologies from development to deployment.   You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

- You understand Navy organizational structures, operational environments, and the processes used to introduce new capabilities to the fleet.
- You have worked with OTHT‑related systems, sensor integration, tactical data links, or ISR feeds supporting maritime operations.
- You have strong analytical skills and can identify integration risks, operational impacts, and system performance gaps.
- You are comfortable engaging directly with operators, engineers, test teams, and program office personnel to resolve issues and facilitate capability fielding.
- You have familiarity with shipboard systems, combat systems architectures, and cross‑platform kill chain concepts.
- You have excellent communication skills and can prepare clear, effective briefs and reports for senior Navy stakeholders.
- You thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder programs.
- You are willing to travel up to 20% to support shipboard events, operator engagements, and fleet introduction activities.

Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of experience working with combat systems for the DoD or U.S. Navy as a civilian, military personnel, or contractor
- Experience with operations, sensors, and weapons system integration onboard U.S. Naval ships
- Knowledge of the combat system software development lifecycle
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Even better if you have these desired skills:
- Experience with U.S. Navy platforms, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, Sensor, and EW systems
- Experience with NAVSEA and Naval Surface Warfare Center programs
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics policies and procedures
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or an Engineering field preferred; master’s degree in mathematics, Physics, or an Engineering field a plus.   Clearance Requirements: Must possess at Top Secret/SCI clearance.
