Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Chandler, AZ

You have: (required)
- 5 years Journey person experience or equivalent maintaining heavy equipment with a working knowledge of welding, machine repair, millwright, hydraulics, sheet metal, pipe fitting, and blueprints.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Pass a physical examination, drug screen test and background check.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)
- Graduate of an approved apprentice program or have formal technical training beyond high school. Or a Journeyman’s card (A Department of Labor Certificate or Equal). Testing and a skills demonstration will be required. Permanent employment subject to probation period not to exceed 6 months.
- If you are currently working as a general mechanic, proof of experience and/or a copy of your Journeyman’s card must accompany your bid.
