Angioplasty Specialist - Cardiac Cath Laboratory – Part Time

The Angioplasty Specialist functions as an integral part of the Interventional Cardiology Team. In this role, you will assist the Cardiac Catheterization Physicians in all phases of pre-procedure, diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, as well as post procedure management.  They practice as a professional within standards established by the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) and all applicable policies and procedures. After your orientation is completed, you will be responsible for on-call shifts.

This is a Part-time (18.75 hours) On Call required position located at the NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester, NY 10567.

Preferred Criteria

- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Required Criteria

- Appropriate education at the discretion of the Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology
- Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and ability to apply new concepts and skills in invasive cardiology
- Demonstrates responsibility for own professional development.
- Knowledge of Interventional Cardiology, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology
