We are currently hiring experienced CNA/PCA caregivers to provide one-on-one support for a client residing in an assisted living community in Great Falls. This case offers consistent, long shifts and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily life of a client who requires comprehensive support throughout the day.

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support a total care client who is bed and wheelchair bound and living with mild dementia. The ideal caregiver is comfortable assisting with transfers, personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, and providing ongoing companionship and engagement throughout the day.

This position requires a caregiver who understands the importance of dignity, patience, and attentive care. The client benefits from a caregiver who can provide gentle reminders, meaningful interaction, and reassuring support while respecting their individuality and preferences. A successful caregiver will be proactive, observant, and committed to creating a positive daily experience while ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Primary Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

- Assist with transfers and repositioning throughout the day

- Support wheelchair mobility and bed mobility needs

- Assist with feeding, meal setup, and hydration

- Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement

- Offer gentle prompting and support related to daily routines

- Assist with toileting, continence care, bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Monitor client comfort, safety, and overall well-being

- Maintain a clean and organized care environment

- Communicate effectively with family members, facility staff, and care management personnel to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

- Active CNA license in the state of Virginia strongly preferred or highly experienced PCA

- Experience providing total care assistance required

- Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory-related challenges preferred

- Experience supporting bed-bound and wheelchair-bound clients preferred

- Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and mobility assistance

- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional

- Ability to remain engaged and attentive throughout a 12-hour shift

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
