About this role

Behaviorist

Understand Behavior. Inspire Change. Make a Lasting Impact.

Are you passionate about understanding behavior, helping individuals overcome challenges, and creating meaningful, lasting change?

At Four Oaks, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, develop new skills, and reach their fullest potential. We're looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Behaviorist who is ready to turn that belief into action!

As a Behaviorist, you'll play an important role in helping individuals navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Through individualized assessments, creative interventions, and collaboration with families and professionals, you'll help develop practical strategies that encourage positive behaviors and long-term success.

This isn't just about managing behaviors. It's about understanding the person behind them and helping create a path toward a brighter future!

What You'll Do

Every individual is unique, and so is the approach you'll take to helping them succeed! In this role, you will:

Understand the Whole Person: Conduct initial consultations, behavioral observations, and appropriate assessments to better understand each individual's needs, strengths, and challenges.

Create Individualized Solutions: Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.

Turn Challenges into Progress: Identify behavioral patterns, develop effective interventions, and help individuals build healthier coping skills and positive behaviors.

Observe, Assess, and Adapt: Evaluate behaviors in individual, group, and structured settings to gain valuable insight and guide treatment strategies.

Empower Those Around You: Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to staff, families, and other caregivers to promote consistent and effective behavioral interventions.

Collaborate for Success: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, educators, and community professionals to create a coordinated approach to care.

Build Strong Connections: Communicate with families and other support systems to better understand each client's challenges, available resources, and opportunities for growth.

Track Progress and Celebrate Success: Maintain accurate treatment notes, assessments, and reports while regularly reviewing goals and adjusting interventions to support continued progress.

Make a Lasting Difference: Help individuals and their support systems develop practical strategies that encourage positive change beyond the treatment setting.
